The gestures people rarely plan: a hand on a shoulder, closed eyes, the weight of one person resting against another. We photograph a family as it is, at home in its own life.
A family is not a line of people smiling at a lens. It is breakfast noise, the grandmother who watches from the doorway, the toddler who will not sit still. We move quietly through all of it and let the day tell us where to look.
Life-story commissions go further: a year of visits, a portrait of a home before it is sold, a grandparent's story told in photographs and their own recorded voice.
